EVERYONE'S ROLE

Success is achieved by planning, inspecting, documenting communicating and executing. Toro emphasizes every individual's responsibility for ensuring a safe workplace for themselves and their co-workers, our customers, and any visitors.

SAFETY

Safety is the cornerstone of every Toro project with a company-wide safety culture. Toro incorporates all relevant portions of USACE's EM 385-1-1 and NAVFAC's Safety Health Handbook to build its site-specific Safety Plan.

QUALITY CONTROL

Toro uses a three-phase quality control program for each DFOW (Definable Feature of Work) including Initial Phase, Preparatory Phase (where we discuss site-specific APPs and activity-specific AHAs) and Follow-Up Phase.

Corporate Safety Culture

Safety is Cornerstone of any Successful Project.

At Toro, we understand that the cornerstone of any successful construction project is safety. We believe that every worker has the right to return home safely at the end of each day. That's why we have developed a Comprehensive Construction Safety Program dedicated to creating a secure and accident-free environment for our team members, partners, and clients.

Our Commitment to Safety

Safety is a core value that guides everything Toro does. Our Construction Safety Program is the embodiment of this commitment. It is rooted in three fundamental principles:

Prevention. We believe that accidents are preventable. Our proactive approach to safety involves identifying potential hazards before they become risks and implementing safeguards to mitigate them.

Education. We understand that knowledge is power. Our ongoing safety training ensures that every member of our team is well-equipped with the latest safety protocols and practices.

Culture. Safety is a collective responsibility. We foster a culture of safety where everyone, from the newest hire to the most experienced veteran, is encouraged to speak up, report concerns, and take ownership of safety.

Key Features of Our Construction Safety Program

1. Risk Assessment and Management

Before we break ground on any project, our team conducts a thorough risk assessment. We identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them. This proactive approach ensures that safety is integrated into every phase of your project.

2. Comprehensive Training Our employees undergo regular safety training, covering topics such as hazard recognition, fall protection, equipment operation, and emergency response. We believe that well-trained teams are the foundation of a safe worksite.

3. Cutting-Edge Technology

We leverage the latest technology to enhance safety. From real-time monitoring of equipment and personnel to digital safety checklists, we embrace innovation to reduce risk and improve safety outcomes.

4. Safety Audits and Inspections

Our dedicated safety officers conduct frequent audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and identify areas for improvement. This proactive approach allows us to make continuous enhancements to our safety program.
