Position Summary:

As a Construction Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. You will collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and team members to ensure successful project execution from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day construction operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, tradespeople, and laborers on-site.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among the construction team.
• Monitor project progress, quality, and adherence to specifications and plans.
• Collaborate with project managers to address any issues or challenges that arise during construction.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve construction issues.
• Communicate effectively with clients, project stakeholders, and team members to provide project updates.
• Foster a positive and collaborative working environment on the construction site.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Construction Management or a related field (preferred but not required).
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Construction Superintendent in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• OSHA certification and other relevant certifications are a plus.
